We made it to Cairo!

Sofie:  On Monday we took a very long flight to Frankfurt Germany. Germany was full of people. We had a five hour layover so we went to the air Canada lounge to have a shower and to eat something. Then we took another 4 hour flight to Cairo. It was not very fun. We got a bus to take us to our air bnb where we planned what to do the next day and to finally get some sleep. The air bnb is fancy and has a pretty view of the pyramids. The sun came up over the desert and it was very pretty.


Sara: So yesterday we got on a plane that was 10 hours long to Germany !!! So on the plane I slept, watched movies and read books it was pretty fun. So when we got off the plane it was morning time! So we had a 5 hour layover in Germany and we walked around looking for some where to sit. Finally we sat down a an air Canada longe and I slept a bit and ate some food so now we’re about to get on a plane to Egypt!!!! I’ll keep you guys posted- sara 


Germany in depth by Sara. So Germany is really pretty. I’m in the Germany air port right now and there are lots of big planes here, some even have 2 flours!!!! So the plane were about to get on is quite small and honestly I’m kinda nervous but whatever. So this morning there was a beautiful sunrise that we saw when we we were on the plane I’m sooo exited to go to Egypt!!!


Egypt by Sara 

Hi y’all so now I’m going to talk about Egypt . So the plane to Egypt was 4 hours long and it kinda sucked not gonna lie. So at home it’s like the middle of the night so I was supperrrrr tired but mom and dad said I shouldn’t sleep because when we got to Egypt we would be sleeping. So I was sitting with Kaitlyn and Roger( their moms friends who are doing all this with us) so to keep our selves busy, we plaid a horse game on my phone. So Roger was ok at the game but Kaitlyn kinda sucks at it lol. By the end she got a little bit better but still not good. So right now we’re on a taxi to our bnb   That over looks the pyramids. I’ll keep y’all posted byeeeeeeeee

Coming home!!!

  We took a flight to Addis Ababa and then took another long flight to Cairo and we arrived at one in the morning. We got to the hotel and it was very fancy and we went to bed. The next day I sat by the pool with dad and Sara and mom went to the bazar. We ate dinner and went to bed for a nap and then woke up at 9. We took the shuttle to the airport and checked in. After the flight to Frankfurt we got to the first class lounge and ate and relaxed. I am so excited to go home this trip was so long. I miss home and my pets and my friends . Kilimanjaro by Sofie

  Blog   We climbed Mt Kilimanjaro for 7 days. They were some of the worst days ever but that’s fine. The first day went really fast and it was actually kind of fun. We only hiked for about 4 hours. We slept in the rain forest. Sara started puking all night but she tried to stay strong. The next day we hiked for 12 hours straight. It was one of the worst days of my life. It was just uphill for hours. At the camp Sara was so done because she was sick and she hadn’t eaten anything for a while cause she kept puking. After we woke up the next morning Sara was so done with everyone so her and dad left with a car that came to the camp to pick her up. I had the choice to either leave or keep going. I chose to keep going with mom and    Katlyn and Roger but honestly it didn’t seem like the right chose while I was climbing that day. We kept going through the days and sleeping at camp. After the hike….

  Hi guys so after we finished our safari’s, our group got together and went back to the main hotel where we went to bed. The next day we went to the airport. We took a quick flight to stone town and then drove for a long time. When we got to the address of our airbnb, it was in the middle of a road with no houses! We were really confused and then we realized we had been scammed!!! So we got back into the car and looked for a hotel. Lucky for us we had all day to look because at the time it was only 9 am. Finally we got to a really pretty hotel. So we went in and they gave us a snack while we waited for a room. Once we got all settled in, we went to the pool that was on the roof!!! After swimming for a bit we had dinner and then went to bed. That night I dreamed that I was a gingerbread man!! The next morning we got up early and decided to go for a walk around the city.
