Zanzibar 2

 Zanzibar —Sara 

The day after we went on the horse ride, we decided to go on a snorkel trip. we got everyone together and walked to the boat and the captain got in and started driving. After around 40 minutes of boating, we finally got to this beautiful place where the water was light blue and not too cold. We all put our snorkels on, but then I decided that I don’t want a snorkel on mine so I jumped into the water without it. There was a huge and beautiful coral reef with lots and lots of cool fish. After about 3 hours we got back into the boat and went home. We spent the rest of the day swimming and then we ate at a yummy restaurant where we had fresh seafood caught that day and then went to bed. The next day we slept in and had a lazy morning. But then we decided to go and snorkel again. So we went snorkelling in a new place, the boat ride there was much longer! When we finally got there to our surprise it was even more pretty than last time!!!! So there was soooo many fish and it was so so so beautiful! There was lots of needle fish and so much coral reefs! On the way back home we stopped at this cool place in the middle of the ocean that was only 3 feet deep and it was white  sand!! This is called an ATOL and was like a movie it was so gorgeous. So we stayed there for a while and had some lunch. Then we boated for a bit and then got to another spot that had lots of colourful star fish. We swam there for a bit and then we saw some dolphins!! When we got back we had dinner and then went to bed so then we woke up at 4 am and got in the car to the airport. That is we’re we are now. Bbbbyyeeeeeeee

Coming home!!!

  We took a flight to Addis Ababa and then took another long flight to Cairo and we arrived at one in the morning. We got to the hotel and it was very fancy and we went to bed. The next day I sat by the pool with dad and Sara and mom went to the bazar. We ate dinner and went to bed for a nap and then woke up at 9. We took the shuttle to the airport and checked in. After the flight to Frankfurt we got to the first class lounge and ate and relaxed. I am so excited to go home this trip was so long. I miss home and my pets and my friends . We still have a ten hour flight ahead of us and then the ferry but it will all be worth it. Kilimanjaro by Sofie

  Blog   We climbed Mt Kilimanjaro for 7 days. They were some of the worst days ever but that’s fine. The first day went really fast and it was actually kind of fun. We only hiked for about 4 hours. We slept in the rain forest. Sara started puking all night but she tried to stay strong. The next day we hiked for 12 hours straight. It was one of the worst days of my life. It was just uphill for hours. At the camp Sara was so done because she was sick and she hadn’t eaten anything for a while cause she kept puking. After we woke up the next morning Sara was so done with everyone so her and dad left with a car that came to the camp to pick her up. I had the choice to either leave or keep going. I chose to keep going with mom and    Katlyn and Roger but honestly it didn’t seem like the right chose while I was climbing that day. We kept going through the days and sleeping at camp. After the hike….

  Hi guys so after we finished our safari’s, our group got together and went back to the main hotel where we went to bed. The next day we went to the airport. We took a quick flight to stone town and then drove for a long time. When we got to the address of our airbnb, it was in the middle of a road with no houses! We were really confused and then we realized we had been scammed!!! So we got back into the car and looked for a hotel. Lucky for us we had all day to look because at the time it was only 9 am. Finally we got to a really pretty hotel. So we went in and they gave us a snack while we waited for a room. Once we got all settled in, we went to the pool that was on the roof!!! After swimming for a bit we had dinner and then went to bed. That night I dreamed that I was a gingerbread man!! The next morning we got up early and decided to go for a walk around the city.
